The home manager has a wealth of experience in nursing and dementia care. She manages a team of highly motivated, enthusiastic, dedicated and caring staff members whose vision is to provide residents with individualised care.
All the staff are DBS and ISA checked and have gained or will be working towards an NVQ in Health and Social Care. We are committed to providing an excellent level of care for all our residents and develop personal plans to ensure this happens.
Situated close to the local town, we encourage and enable our residents to take part in planned outings to local amenities. We arrange regular trips, social occasions and special events and the families of our residents are encouraged to visit and take part. It is important to us that our homes are an extension of family life.
Our on-site activities co-ordinator ensures all residents are able to take part in activities if they wish. Outings and visiting entertainers are frequently arranged as well as exercise sessions, music and games. We also offer easy access to the garden which is perfect for peaceful reflection or time away from the warm atmosphere in the social rooms.
Using locally-sourced fresh fruit and vegetables, we plan our menus in advance and cater to all our residents’ specific dietary requirements. We are open to suggestions for future meals and take note of our residents’ favorite meals. Our excellent chefs seek to keep all our residents happy and well-fed.
