We are fully committed to the ongoing training and development of our staff, and as such all staff must complete mandatory training and either hold, or work towards completing their NVQ in Health and Social Care. All the staff are also DBS and ISA checked and are given a comprehensive induction to the high standards we adhere to.
It is important for us to encourage staff development and personal growth whilst with us; we offer excellent training courses to all staff members to help them continue their learning and continue to provide exceptional care.
Kibworth Court is located close to Kibworth Village which boasts restaurants, entertainers, and plenty of fresh, country air. We encourage all our residents and their families to attend our group outings and explore the local area, but residents are not compelled to do so. The village is situated just six miles away from Market Harborough with good transport links.
We are regularly visited by singers, entertainers, and an amateur drama company who provide great entertainment for our residents. During the summer months we organise a canal boat trip and take several trips to the local pubs and shops. Our staff also co-ordinate a daily program of activities in-house which has been generated by the residents, meaning every resident can express their independence.
All of the food at Kibworth is prepared and cooked on site using fresh fruit and vegetables from a local supplier. It is incredibly important to us that every resident has their dietary needs catered for and all receive a healthy, well balanced, nutritious diet.
