At the heart of each of our care homes you will find an enthusiastic and dedicated care team, whose priority is to create a safe and friendly environment, while providing each of our residents with individualised holistic care. Our residents’ physical and psychological care, wellbeing, and comfort are of prime importance and help to keep our dedicated staff motivated every day.
In order to ensure that we deliver the highest quality of care, we handpick all of our care team members and nurture their skills and values. Each staff member has been DBS checked and each receives a comprehensive induction programme, plus mandatory training. In addition to this, every staff member must either hold, or be working towards their NVQ in Health and Social Care. We believe this not only allows us to offer the best possible care to our residents, but it also helps to reassure our residents and their families that they are receiving the highest standard of care. Furthermore, continued learning is actively encouraged, and we regularly offer tailor made training courses to constantly improve the quality of care our staff provide.
We are able to provide short and long-term placements at all of our care homes, and are also able to offer local residents day care facilities if needed. We have found that local residents appreciate the warm and friendly community that we have created in our care homes, and often seek the opportunity to meet new people and experience the excellent care we offer more permanent residents. Resident welfare is of the utmost importance regardless of how long our hospitality is needed.
We welcome residents from all over the country which means many new residents do not have immediate access to the local GP. As experienced care givers we are able to provide a choice of local practices and will assist in the registration process. Whilst local doctors do visit each care home regularly and are available on request, we understand that some residents prefer the independence of a trip to their local practice, which we are happy to accommodate.
We are dedicated to maintaining and maximising everyone’s independence and dignity and will always strive to meet the needs of all our residents.
Kibworth Court is a very relaxed and homely residence for my dad to stay in to give my mum periodic respite. Dad's dementia brings its challenges, but he always gains in a personal and a positive way from staying there. He eats well, walks about a lot more than at home and seems to enjoy the interaction with the other people. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, and they seem to make my dad relaxed and calm. Kibworth Court has lots of nice spaces for the residents to choose to relax in, they provide some nice touches in decor, furniture and objects around the place to make it homely and there is a lovely garden. We're really glad we found this care home as it gives us confidence each time my dad stays there.

My mum has been in Willows Lodge for a few years now. When she first arrived there she was underweight, she refused to walk and feed herself. But with the help and support from staff, she now walks around aided with a frame. She has put on weight, to the point where I have had to go and buy new clothes for her - twice! She is happy and very settled there now. Staff are very friendly and happy to help.

My dad spent the last 3 years of his life in Evergreen Lodge and I have to say the care he received during this time was, in my opinion, second to none. I must admit when visiting Evergreen for the first time I did have my reservations, it wasn't the newest or best-looking home I'd visited; however, it soon became apparent that what it lacked in appearance it more than made up for with the care and attentiveness showed to my dad by the care, nursing and management staff. In my opinion, staff often went 'above and beyond' what was expected of them and would often put themselves out to make my dad as happy and comfortable as possible. I cannot thank or praise the staff at Evergreen enough. If you are looking for somewhere for a loved one to stay take my advice 'don't judge a book by its cover', good care is far more important than freshly painted walls and hotel style bedrooms.
