We are committed to providing the highest standard of care. All our staff are DBS and ISA checked and receive a comprehensive induction programme. We facilitate on-going training and staff development, including regularly organising training courses for our staff.
Residents’ physical and psychological care is incredibly important to us so helping the staff develop their own knowledge allows them to provide better care each day.
You don’t need to go far to get some exercise or fresh air as Framland is situated within walking distance of Melton Country Park, and our residents love going to visit. We organise regular visits for the residents, and encourage family and friends to join. The care home is located on the local bus route, so we have great access to the town centre, which has several local amenities and entertainment services.
As well as regularly visiting Melton Country Park, we visit local pubs, shops and organise summer trips. Daily activities are arranged with the residents to ensure high involvement, and suitability for each individual resident. Residents are also encouraged to explore the large, secure garden or make use of the three separate lounges.
Food and nutrition is an important aspect of the care we provide, so all meals are planned in advance and are well balanced and nutritious. Special dietary requirements are catered for and we even celebrate special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, and national holidays. All food is cooked on the premises using locally sourced fresh fruit and vegetables.
